Industrial design is a field that provides almost every tools and systems that we experience and use in everyday life. The domain of Industrial design is very wide,  it makes our lives comfortable and gives us emotionally rich living systems as it says “from a needle to a spacecraft.” Industrial design is in the center of whole design fields, and also it is supported by the government to make Korea a culturally developed country.

 

The educational value of industrial design major lies integrating diverse methods that future requires into the program. Developing rational thinking and unique formative  skills with specialized creative problem solving abilities, students are educated to grow professional aspects that meet the future demand. The goal of the program is to cultivate integrative knowledge based designers who can lead the future vision in crossover ways. Out consilience program aims to train students to develop solution making abilities based on studies about wide spectrum of the society and combinations of emotion and logic.
